WJHL Rewind: News Channel 11 interviews Glenn Frey

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) – In May 1993, Glenn Frey and Joe Walsh, most notably known as core members of the Eagles, co-headlined a tour with a stop at Freedom Hall.

News Channel 11’s Michell Fleming spoke with Frey, who spoke about his upcoming late-night TV show “South of Sunset,” which premiered on CBS that fall and ran for a single season.

Frey, who helped found the Eagles, passed away in 2016. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998, along with Don Henley, Walsh and other members of the band.
