Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose continue to show what functional co-parenting can look like, as the former spouses came together recently to celebrate their son Sebastian’s 11th birthday.

With a unique theme in mind, the parents threw their only child a West Coast-themed party filled with lowriders, High Life beer, khaki pants, flannel shirts, Rottweiler puppies, and more.

Wiz and Amber both took to Instagram to share recaps from the backyard bash and to shout out their pre-teen son. “My Best Friend’s Bday party,” Amber captioned the post. “This what I call a function,” Wiz followed up.

In the clip, guests can be seen enjoying the blue atmosphere as they played basketball, arcade games, painted, pet puppies, sipped on slushies, and posed in front of photos of Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, 2Pac, Ice Cube, and Eazy-E.

It was evident that Sebastian had the time of his life as he was all smiles throughout the clip, even flicking it up with both parents, who dressed in their best West Coast garb. The backyard party was capped by a three-tier black birthday cake that featured fondant-made money, palm leaves, gold chains, photos, and more.

A few days prior to the birthday bash, Amber shared a school picture of her son with a heartfelt birthday shout out.

“Sebastian is 11!!!! Omg!!! My baby grew up so fast!” she wrote. “Still the sweetest, smartest, most charismatic, loving, Pumpkin in all the land! Mommy loves you more than you will ever know! My first born Angel.”

Wiz Khalifa spoke on co-parenting with Amber earlier this year during an episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast.

“It’s good. It’s fun. Well not fun, but like… I think I’m in a good situation with her as a co-parent,” he said. “Especially through time. Things have just eased up and become a lot more enjoyable and just regular of a process.”

He added, “All the irregular [stuff] has been worked out and we’re past everything that I think would cause people to be dysfunctional. So at this point, it’s way easier to just run things smoothly than it is for it not to be smooth.”
