Season 3 ended with Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri taking separate roads. The Witcher season 3 vol. 2 was a tough bone to chow for Geralt of Rivia, who didn’t look as brilliant as usual. First, he took a while to realize Vilgefortz was the one corrupting the half-elven girls and making them believe they were Ciri. When Geralt finally confronted Vilgefortz, the white-haired monster hunter ended up on the losing side of the contest. Following his defeat and the destruction of Aretuza, Geralt needed some time to heal from the wounds. After spending time with Eithné and the Dryads, Geralt reunited with Jaskier and Milva. Believing Ciri was in Nilfgaard, Geral and his companions rode to save her.

The blonde girl in Nilfgaard isn’t Ciri but Teryn.

Teryn is one of the girls manipulated by Vilgefortz to take on Ciri’s identity. In Nilfgaard, she is cheered by the crowd as Princess Cirilla of Cintra. In the meantime, the real Ciri spent some time in the sands of Korath, where she started to harness her impressive magical powers. Things didn’t go according to plan, and Ciri was captured before being saved by a group of misfits called “The Rats.” She then assumed a new identity, asking to be called Falka.
