Ariana DeBose and Chris Pine lead the voice cast of Disney Animation’s upcoming fairy tale Wish, due out this November.

As the movie’s title suggests, Wish is all about wishes, with DeBose playing 17-year-old Asha in a magical kingdom where a ruler (Pine’s King Magnifico) strictly determines which wishes are granted. When Asha gains the ability to do the same — including giving a voice to her pet goat Valentino, voiced by Disney vet Alan Tudyk — Magnifico deems her an enemy of the kingdom.

In addition to the new trailer, Disney also revealed the majority of Wish’s voice cast, which includes Harvey Guillén, Ramy Youssef, Evan Peters, Jennifer Kumiyama, Victor Garber, Della Saba, Jon Rudnitsky, Niko Vargas, and — as Asha’s mom — Natasha Rothwell.

Julia Michaels, along with songwriting collaborator Benjamin Rice, penned seven new originals for Wish, including the DeBose-sung “This Wish,” which features in the latter half of the trailer.

Jennifer Lee, the film’s co-writer and Disney Animation’s Chief Creative Officer, said in a statement, “Asha is the ultimate ordinary hero. Asha is at that precipice in life where she is an idealist, open, accepting and having fun. Disney’s newest heroine sees the world reveal its flaws as she goes on her journey. She starts to feel that fire that a lot of people feel at that age of ‘this isn’t right, what am I going to do?’ We watch her become a full participant in the world and see the impact you can have.”

Wish arrives in theaters on November 22.
