Winter Storm Stella Sweeps Across Late Night TV, Covering People in Jokes

Winter Storm Stella has been sweeping across the Northeast, blanketing a large portion of the country in snow and ice. On Tuesday night, Stella swept across the late night talk shows as Conan O’Brien, Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, and Seth Meyers all joked about the late-season storm.

On The Tonight Show, Jimmy said that around 120 million people were affected by the storm, adding, “Yeah, 120 million people worked from home on their March Madness brackets.” On Late Night, Seth pointed out that the real madness was taking place at the airports. He said, “Thousands of flights were canceled today due to a powerful winter storm. Either that, or Trump’s new travel ban is for all of us.”

Seth wasn’t the only one to combine politics with the storm. Conan looked on the bright side of half the country being covered in snow, saying, “Now that Obamacare is getting repealed, it’s nice to see something’s still covering half the country.”

Finally, on The Late Show, the storm gave Stephen a chilling reminder. While describing the storm, he said it was “just cold and brittle, right in your face.” Then Stephen added, “It reminded me of Kellyanne Conway.”
