Was Winning Time Crushing? Best Yellowstone Surprise? Legally Blonde Reunion Minus Reese? Murdaugh Murders’ True Heroes? More Qs!

We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about lotsa shows including Winning Time, Daryl Dixon, Power Book IV: Force and Yellowstone!

1 | Do we really think that Heels’ Jack is permanently paralyzed? Did that ending take you by surprise?

2 | Why would Foundation‘s Hari give Demerzel the Prime Radiant, which contains all of his calculations? Isn’t that information dangerous in the Empire’s hands?

3 | All Rise fans, were you shocked that Teddy survived the shooting?

4 | As you rewatched Yellowstone’s very first episode on CBS, which reminder surprised you more: how tender John could be, how hard Jamie once worked to gain Daddy’s approval, or what a loser Jimmy was?

5 | Did hearing The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon use “Blue Monday” in its nightclub scene Sunday make you wonder just how many times the ubiquitous New Order hit has been dusted off and used as TV shorthand for “hip club”? Any guesstimates?

6 | Did you stop to wonder what Billions’ Krakow did with those wings Grigor gave him? (Sure, they were accompanied by a death threat, but they were kinda pretty, no?)

7 | What do we think will happen first on The Chi: Deja will figure out Shaad had an affair, or Nina and Dre will figure out that Bakari stashed the bag of weapons in Lynnae’s room?

8 | Have we watched too much of the Powerverse, or was it kind of refreshing — in this week’s Book IV: Force — that Garcia’s torture method involved CO2 and a shattered arm instead of the franchise’s usual, bloodier fare?

9 | Wasn’t Winning Time’s finale, which ended on a crushing Lakers loss, the most painful series finale cliffhanger in years? Did the tacked-on epilogue, which assured us that the Lakers later beat the Celtics, make it any easier to swallow? And with the drama’s abrupt cancellation, how many(/few) Sunday shows does HBO have left now…?

Ahsoka
Ahsoka

10 | On Ahsoka, how worried should we be about the coffin-like vessels that Thrawn’s troopers were moving from the Nightsisters’ catacombs onto the Chimera?

Only Murders In the Building
Only Murders In the Building

11 | What is the superior Only Murders in the Building show tune: “Look for the Light” (as sung by Meryl Streep’s Loretta) or “Which of the Pickwick Triplets Did It” (as sung by Steve Martin’s Charles)? And why did Playbill — which is featured elsewhere in the show, including in this very scene — not lend its logo to the Death Rattle program?

12 | No disrespect to the lawyers and detectives who successfully put Alex Murdaugh behind bars for life, but can we all agree that the real heroes of Murdaugh Murders Season 2 are the scandal-ridden family’s former caretaker Shelly Smith and housekeeper Blanca Turrubiate-Simpson

13 | Did American Horror Story: Delicate mean for us to immediately suspect Dex of being up to no good? (’Cause we for sure did.) And how much is it killing FX and Hulu (and parent company Disney) that SAG strike rules are forbidding Kim Kardashian from shilling Delicate to her half a billion fans on social media?

14 | Watching Assembled: Secret Invasion, did the blurred-out logo on Kingsley Ben-Adair’s shirt drive you a bit nuts? Similarly, why was the back of the stunt coordinator’s jacket conspicuously blurred out, but not the exact same logo on the front? And do they realize they showed us B-roll of the tearful Gi’ah/Talos scene that never aired?

The Morning Show Legally Blonde
The Morning Show Legally Blonde

15 | Did it occur to you at any point during this week’s Nicole Beharie-focused Morning Show episode that Reese Witherspoon wasn’t in it at all? Not even for this Legally Blonde reunion?

16 | The Traitors fans, with all the reality-TV icons in Season 2’s cast, which ones are you most hoping to see selected as Traitors?

17 | Should fans of The CW’s few remaining, homegrown originals be worried that the network just ordered Crime Nation, an unscripted true-crime series whose episodes will run a full two hours, eating up a full night on the schedule come 2024?

18 | As pointed out by TVLine reader Drew, isn’t America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League — which will let judges use the Golden Buzzer to steal an act from another judge’s team — pretty much “The Voice for variety acts”?

19 | How, exactly, did The Bold and the Beautiful’s lil’ Douglas text Thomas from Hope’s phone and Hope from Thomas’ phone?

20 | Is it just us or does Sex Education’s final season feel more like a spinoff or a backdoor pilot for one? And were you surprised just how long Otis’ flaccid penis remained on screen in the premiere?

21 | Were you ready to scream if none of the Generation Gap gr’ups could ID the Barbie movie still? And were you as thankful as the players were that Kelly Ripa “translated” Charo for everyone?

22 | Maybe we’re being overly sensitive, but is anyone else worrying that Buddy Games might fracture some of these long-standing friendships by forcing losing teams to send a member home?

23 | Are you surprised that Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves can say things like “Big Brother zombie” and still keep a straight face? Who do you most want to see return to the game, Jared or Cameron? And during the Head of Household competition, why did the show devote zero airtime to Bowie’s decision to jump off the wall when she could have won the whole thing? (Not even a single Diary Room session explaining her choice?!)

24 | Despite the fact that The Challenge’s Wes Bergmann officially announced his retirement, are you holding out hope that he’ll one day change his mind? Also, will anyone be able to defeat Chris Underwood in an Arena elimination?

Luke Macfarlane in 'Amish Stud: The Eli Weaver Story'
Luke Macfarlane in 'Amish Stud: The Eli Weaver Story'

25 | Based on this photo, are we sure Luke Macfarlane is playing an Amish Stud and not a Wolverine?

26 | If Prime Video is going to include commercials as part of its standard subscription moving forward, what, exactly, is the point of maintaining Amazon Freevee as a standalone service?
