From Anya Taylor-Joy to Margaret Qualley, the stars are making a case for ginormous hats on the 77th Cannes Film Festival red carpet, and Winnie Harlow is just the latest to join the movement.

The Canadian model arrived at the premiere of The Apprentice in a pale pink suit from the Tamara Ralph Fall 2023 couture collection. Harlow’s ensemble winked at the current cowboy trend, but she gave the western aesthetic a refined twist that suited the French Riviera setting.

In a nod to classic French brands like Chanel, Harlow’s monochromatic fit included a tweed jacket and matching pants, both of which featured panels of mesh along the hemlines, which morphed into streams of oversize pearls. As part of the businesswear set, the model wore a giant fluffy hat that extended over the width of her body. The statement-making headwear featured diamond-shaped cutouts across it, which likely didn’t create much coverage, but perfectly continued the lattice-like motif across her entire outfit.

Down low, Harlow completed her fit with a pair of pointy slingback heels and she accessorized with drippy diamond jewelry that mirrored the pearl details of the embellished suit.

She was spotted stopping by the Campari lounge at the Palais des Festivals in the cowgirl ensemble.

It was no surprise to see Harlow stealing the show, given that she always shines when she walks the Cannes carpet. Let’s not forget back in 2022, when the model stunned in an elegant A-line ballgown from Off-White, custom designed by the late Virgil Abloh.
