"Growing up I got teased a lot for my skin," she explained at the start of the caption. "I got called everything you already know.. and Dalmatian. That really got to me when I was little. So much so that I realized I had a bit of disdain for the film as a child."

Harlow added that while she's grown to have an appreciation for the film, she's also "realized how much I missed out with 101 Dalmatians as a child based on the words of bullies."

"I pray no child misses out because of the words of others! You’re perfect just the way you are 😘😊 ," she continued. "This and so many others are dream roles to me to act and it was a pleasure grasping the iconic @glennclose as CRUELLA DEVILLE 😍👹🐾 I want a Dalmatian now 😂."

The America's Next Top Model alum ended her post by sharing that she was dedicating her Halloween costume to "little Winnie."

"Taking her lemons and turning them into lemonade. The things that used to give her trauma. And the small things that helped push further. Confidence 🤍," she added.

Apart from recreating the film's movie poster and adding her own twist to some of its most iconic costumes, she also gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at her hair and makeup for the special occasion.

Harlow's Cruella de Vil costume is her second of the spooky season. On Monday, she shared multiple snaps on Instagram in which she dressed up as comedian Katt Williams. She explained that Williams is one of her favorite comedians and someone who has helped better her self-esteem.

"Growing up, I never saw anyone like me on TV, billboards or on the runways. I felt like I was the only person in the world like me," she said. After finding success early in her career, she was only motivated to work harder.

"The more I did it, the more of a following I gained on social media," she added. "I was getting a lot of love and support and people telling me that I inspired them. So I was like, 'If doing this thing that's just fun for me is inspiring people, then it's a win-win.' "
