And the Winner of 'Dancing with the Stars' is…
On Tuesday's Dancing with the Stars, the final three contestants danced for the mirror ball. Interestingly, the finalists Calvin Johnson, Jr, James Hinchcliffe, and Laurie Hernandez were all top level athletes. Each performed a favorite routine from the season as well as a fusion dance that mixed two ballroom styles. Calvin Johnson, Jr. was eliminated during the show, leaving Hinchcliffe and Hernandez to hold their breath as Tom Bergeron announced the winner. That winner was Laurie Hernandez. She said, "I just want to thank everyone for the support and riding along this crazy roller coaster of my life. My goal is just to inspire others. And thanks for being there for me" Luckily, this won't be the last dancing we'll see of Hernandez as she was announced to be a member of the DWTS live tour.
