A Wine Camp Set To Prove Music Is Love

Cosmico is set to bring you its inaugural Wine Camp experience, having created an integrated and educational experience for attendees centered around small independent winemakers from Sonoma County. Wine Camp offers several tasting tracks featuring different wineries in each (including a natural wine track!) Here festival goers can meet the winemaker, learn about the region, and discover their new favorite wines in an intimate setting. Each Wine Track kicks off with an educational discussion, led by VinePair's Sommelier of the Year, Alex Sarovich & Melissa Gisler, Advanced Somm and Founder of Rock Juice Natural wine.

Showcasing the best of Sonoma County winemakers, Wine Camp started at the coveted original backyard Cosmico, and now, with a new venue and larger capacity, attendees can taste their way through Sonoma County’s top independent wineries. Wineries participating are Ryme Cellars, Ami Ami, Arnot-Roberts, Bloodroot, Emmit-Scorsone, Lioco, Marietta, Monte Rio, Reeve, Rootdown, Ruth Leandowski, Subject to Change and Trail Marker. Access to this tasting experience is FREE for Cosmico VIP ticket holders, and GA pass holders will be able to purchase a ‘4 winery tasting card’ for $20. In addition, a private, limited all-access tasting experience that includes a 3-Day ticket is available for $249. Single day access and bespoke experiences are also available.

We believe people want more intimate and integrated experiences - and big names and large crowds don’t really deliver on that. We think about your time at Cosmico as a true getaway, whether you are here for a day or staying onsite for 3 days of music. We’ve curated a thoughtful program that incorporates nature, music, food and wine, as well as wellness and talks to pique your interest. With 500-1000 people this is a boutique festival - and we’d love to keep it that way. We were recently lucky enough to score a ticket to Luck Family Reunion (Willie Nelson’s event during SXSW) and the warmth and camaraderie of that concert is the feeling we want people to have at Cosmico. Sonoma County is a destination, and we encourage attendees to discover some of the gems - visiting the coast or the redwoods, checking out our cute towns - we want guests to enjoy everything that is on offer from this area.</em></p><p><em>At Cosmico, you are part of the experience, and you’ll be dancing next to your new favorite winemaker, or band. You’ll discover new spirits, and meet new friends. You’ll be part of creating the energy, and you aren't just a number on our ticket list.</em></p><p><em>We came up with WineCamp because of our experiences at Bottlerock and Outside Lands - BR had a stage sponsored by the wine brands Jam and Butter. The early days of Wine Lands also inspired us. We live in the heart of California Wine, so we are highlighting small production and thoughtful winemakers. Like us they are creating from the heart, and they are making wines that will stand the test of time in terms of quality and craft. Some of our wineries include Arnot Roberts, Lioco, RYME Cellars, and Reeve Wines.</em></p><p><em>The Launch Pad Foundation’s mission is building community through entrepreneurship & the arts. We are a non-profit 501c3 public charity that supports grassroots projects driven by pioneers in entrepreneurship, the arts, music, and food since 2009.</em></p><p><em>We’re committed to giving back to our community, artists, and creators. As a non-profit festival, tickets, donations, and sponsor support enables us to come together in celebration and pay it forward to emerging artists, independent winemakers, chefs, artisans, and grassroots community organizations.</em></p><p><em>For over five years, Cosmico has been raising funds for our community, generating over $50,000 in donations. Some of these funds have been distributed to grassroots organizations that align with our mission of community empowerment. Examples of these organizations include Mill Creek COPE, Voices for a Safer Tennessee, Good Fire, and the Scholarship for Children of Vineyard Workers.</em></p><p><em>Cosmico is a project of the Launch Pad Foundation, a public 501(c)(3) founded by Chris Schultz and Anne Driscoll to strengthen communities through entrepreneurship and the arts. Cosmico has raised over $50,000 in direct benefit to local organizations, artists and the community over the past 5 years</em>."</p>
