Winans Coffee & Chocolate has opened its fourth Columbus store and will offer free samples on Valentine's Day to celebrate.

The Piqua-based chocolatier, which already has stores in Dublin, German Village and Grandview Heights, now is doing business at 611 N. High St., next door to Marcella's in the Short North.

On Wednesday, Winans will offer free 12-ounce cups of drip coffee from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., free Valentine's Day chocolate samples from noon to 4 p.m., and free samples of chocolate-covered strawberries and other Valentine's items from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
