SEEEverything to know about ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 32

But how can we possibly tell who will succeed before anyone has stepped foot on the dance floor? Well, there’s no way to know for sure until the stars put on their dancing shoes. But we can look at “DWTS” history for some clues. For instance, multiple football players have won the Mirror Ball Trophy, so Peterson might stand out as an early favorite. Lawson is also one to watch since “Bachelorette” contestants have made the finals three times in the last four seasons, with Hannah Brown (season 28) and Kaitlyn Bristowe (season 29) both winning. The last Mirror Ball champ, Charli D’Amelio (season 31), made a name for herself on social media, so maybe that’s good news for Pons, especially since half the results are decided by dedicated fans voting from home.

One of the pleasures of “DWTS,” though, is discovering dancers we didn’t see coming at first. Basketball players notoriously struggled on the show before underdog Iman Shumpert came and won season 30. “Catfish” host Nev Schulman took us by surprise with his fancy footwork; he was the runner-up in season 29. And how would we have guessed that nature conservationist Bindi Irwin would become one of the show’s all-time most commanding winners in season 21? Who might those dark horses be in season 32?
