The 77th annual North Carolina Azalea Festival announced two concert headliners for its 2024 spring celebration Wednesday: one a well-known rapper, the other a big country star.
Grammy-award-winning hip-hop artist T-Pain will perform 7 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at Live Oak Bank Pavilion. Tickets start at $55 for lawn seats and go on sale 10 a.m. Dec. 18, but you can register for pre-sale access to purchase tickets starting 10 a.m. Dec. 15.
Also announced Wednesday, platinum-selling country singer Chase Rice will perform 7 p.m. Friday, April 5, at Live Oak Bank Pavilion. Tickets start at $55 for lawn seats and go on sale 10 a.m. Dec. 18, but you can register for pre-sale access to purchase tickets starting 10 a.m. Dec. 15.
Rice also played Live Oak Bank Pavilion last year, but it wasn't for the Azalea Festival.
T-Pain's debut album "Ternt Sanga" dropped in 2005, and he's also gotten acclaim for working with such artists as Flo-Rida, Jamie Foxx and Kanye West.

It's possible the Azalea Festival will announce a third concert headliner for Saturday, April 6, in the coming weeks. The 2024 festival is scheduled for April 3-7.
