Willie Nelson will return to Wisconsin’s Somerset Amphitheater on Sept. 6 and this time he’s bringing Bob Dylan and John Mellencamp along for the ride.

Tickets for the 2024 Outlaw Music Festival go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster. The tour’s promoter, Live Nation, did not announce ticket prices, but a presale for Citi cardholders that runs through 10 p.m. Thursday showed general admission at $62.70 and seats from $419.50 to $89. Southern Avenue opens.

Last year, Nelson turned 90, won his 11th and 12th Grammy Awards, released his 73rd and 74th solo albums and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In June, he brought the Outlaw Music Festival to Somerset with Robert Plant and Alison Krauss and Minnesota’s own Trampled by Turtles.

Dylan, who turns 82 in May, has played more than 3,000 shows on his so-called Never Ending Tour, which started in 1988. He took 2020 off due to the pandemic, but when he returned to the road in 2021, he traded his typical hits-heavy set list for one focused on his 2020 album “Rough and Rowdy Ways.” He has since added songs from last year’s “Shadow Kingdom,” his 40th album. Dylan last played the metro in 2017 when he headlined St. Paul’s Xcel Energy Center.

Mellencamp, 72, rose to the fame in the ’80s with a string of hits that include “Hurts So Good,” “Jack and Diane,” “Pink Houses,” “Small Town,” “R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A.” and “Paper in Fire.” Last summer, he released his 25th album, “Orpheus Descending.” It earned rave reviews and includes a song written by Bruce Springsteen.

The inaugural Outlaw Music Festival made its debut in 2016 in Pennsylvania. It was a hit and has become one of North America’s biggest annual touring franchises. This year’s outing is Nelson’s most extensive to date, with 25 shows on the schedule.
