Katt Williams2024 takeover looks like it may continue. Willie D promised that the comedian will “break the internet again” with their forthcoming interview.

The Geto Boys member promoted the interview on Monday (Jan. 8), writing, “#KattWilliams is back and ready to break the internet again with a new explosive interview on Willie D Live! Tuesday Jan 9th @7AM PST, 9AM CST, 10AM EST… Get Ready!”

In the promotional clip, the Houston rapper begins by asking the Friday After Next actor, “Why are you such a habitual line stepper?” A separate clip follows, which shows Williams saying, “No matter what he says, he never met me.” He then transitions into talking about how he has brought out 7,000 people in someone else’s hometown, discusses a time he should have allegedly been arrested, and how in every city he goes to, he has the nicest car and women flock to him. Check out the teaser clip below.

This could be one of many forthcoming Katt Williams interviews after Shannon Sharpe set the pace last Wednesday (Jan. 3) on Club Shay Shay. In their almost three-hour conversation, Williams discussed his relationships, or lack thereof, with Kevin Hart, Steve Harvey, Cedric The Entertainer, and many more. He was very candid, which led to several soundbites circulating the internet and generating people’s interest. The YouTube video now sits at over 37 million views in just under a week.

Hart was one of the many people mentioned to respond to Williams. “Gotta get that anger up outcha champ….It’s honestly sad,” the Soul Plane actor wrote via X, formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday (Jan. 11).

Sharpe was heavily criticized for not handling the interview like a journalist would, but he did not buy that reasoning; he countered with the claim that people were upset because the interview gained so much visibility. “There’s some sporting events that don’t get watched by 27 million [people],” he said emphatically. “That’s what you’re mad about. You not mad about [how] I didn’t cut this man off. You’re not mad about that. ‘Oh, those are your boys and you let him talk about your boys,’ that’s not what you’re mad about. ‘Oh, you’re not even a journalist, he could have got so much more meat off the bone.’ You’re not mad about that.”
