Will Ferrell’s New Santa is Real Cool, Brah
On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Will Ferrell appeared as a very modernized take on Kris Kringle which he called “New Santa,” complete with bleached hair, board shorts, and a Bluetooth earpiece. “The Kris Kringle we all grew up with is old and lame,” he said. “Dude looks like someone’s weird grandpa. Kids today are demanding a newer, hipper, more badass Santa Claus — so, uh, you’re welcome.” That’s right, the fat man from the North Pole is sporting a very Laguna Beach, Cali-breezy look with the chill vibes to match. Oh, and a T-shirt gun. Apparently New Santa has scrapped the elves in favor of a T-shirt blaster that may or may not have been fully functional.
