Taylor Swift is coming to Indianapolis in November 2024 and like the rest of Indianapolis' Swifties, IndyStar journalists are so "Ready For It."

When Swift announced her Eras stadium tour last year and skipped over the Circle City, fans across the state lamented that "I Wish You Would" come back ... be here. We even made "Peace" with this "Cruel Summer."

Until today.

Now, we have a few special requests.

Swift's massive 44-song setlist for her U.S. tour barely scratched the surface of her prolific 200-plus song catalog that spans a 17-year career and 13 albums.

Like many diehard Swift fans, IndyStar's journalists have a wish list for songs we hope she will add to her setlist and perform at Lucas Oil Stadium on Nov. 1-3 next year, and songs we hope she will keep performing.

"Look What You Made (Us) Do," Taylor. Please, you've probably got a few "Blank Space(s)" on that setlist. Make our "Wildest Dreams" come true.

Taylor Swift Indianapolis Eras concert song wish list

"Picture to Burn": "When I was a kid, I used to scream this song in my bedroom when no one was home. I dated a boy in high school who had an old truck. And yes, I hated that stupid old pickup truck he never let me drive!"

Grace Hollars, photojournalist

"Getaway Car": "'Reputation' is one of Swift's more polarizing albums, but let me be so clear: This one would bring the house down live. If you need more convincing, this glimpse into the writing process from Swift's 2020 documentary makes it plain. Indy deserves to hear the Getaway Car bridge live."

Claire Rafford, business reporter

"Clean": "Think you've heard a real break-up song? Think again. Clean is the break-up song to end all break-up songs."

Ko Lyn Cheang, city government reporter

"The Story of Us": "Picture this: 10-year-old Miranda, staring at the Daniel Radcliffe poster on her wall, silent-screaming 'Now I’m standing alone in a crowded room, and we’re not SPEAAAAKING!' Perhaps my first encounter with a sad girl bop. This is the song that best captures that out-of-place feeling after a breakup — romantic, platonic, even just being in unfamiliar terrain — without being obviously weepy."

Miranda Jeyaretnam, 2023 Pulliam Fellow

Everything we know so far: Taylor Swift is coming to Indianapolis

"Paper Rings": "It's a fun, upbeat, dancing song, which will make everyone want to jump. It was well requested, as stated by Taylor, when she did it as a surprise song in Minneapolis."

Sadie Newell, daughter of sports editor, Nat Newell

"New Romantics": "A jam you can work out, head-bang or dance to. The lyrics are reckless and self-aware, which is a fun mix. My dad likes this song, too (at least I'm pretty sure he does)."

Johnny Magdaleno, courts reporter

"I Bet You Think About Me" (Taylor's Version)": "The song is just so catchy and the music video is 10/10. When 'Red' (Taylor's Version) came out, I would sing this on repeat at the top of my lungs in my apartment. (Sorry to my neighbors ...)"

Brittany Carloni, Carmel and Westfield reporter

"Out of the Woods": "The best song on her best album, the crowning jewel of her masterful pop arrival proper, the track that launched a thousand Jack Antonoff collaborations — what other choice would you have me make? The bridge alone has taken years off my life (and I will gladly sacrifice more to hear it live). Do it for the bridge, Taylor!"

Heather Bushman, 2023 Pulliam fellow

"Anti-Hero": "That song forced me to do some deep self-reflection after my son's suicide and the role I had to play in healing and the damage I was doing to the people around me by not getting it together."

Jen Guadarrama, breaking news editor

"Bad Blood": "A while back I read the book 'Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup.' It's about Theranos and Elizabeth Holmes. I have never purposely listened to Taylor Swift, but the book made me have the song 'Bad Blood' stuck in my head for weeks. Apparently I had heard it before. I don't hate it. Taylor Swift is everywhere. Resistance is futile."

Jenny Porter Tilley, digital producer

"Back to December": "It's that beautiful mix of nostalgia and regret, like warm and fuzzy memories in the cold and bitter air. It also came out when I was a freshman in college, and I sang it in the shower from time to time."

Nate Akins, Indianapolis Colts reporter

“Safe and Sound”: “I'm what you call a reluctant convert. During the summer after Taylor released 'Speak Now.' I was 15 years old and filled with angst. I was not a Swiftie then but 'Speak Now' marked the start and 'Red' cemented my respect for her. Above everything: If Carole King loves Taylor Swift, I do, too.”

Rachel Fradette, suburban education reporter

“Mine”: “I wouldn't go so far as to say I identify as a Swiftie, but I respect the hell out of her as a writer, and one song that I would shout out in that vein that she hasn't played much on the Eras Tour would be Mine. The line "You made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughter" is really a gem. I saw someone write that it captures two lifetimes in 10 words and that's pretty impressive stuff.”
