Make all your wildest dreams come true, meet Napoleon Dynamite stars at FanX

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — It’s a busy year for “Napoleon Dynamite” stars Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite) and Efren Ramirez (Pedro Sánchez). Not only are they touring in celebration of the beloved film’s 20th anniversary, including a stop in Logan, but FanX just announced they’ll be guests at the convention as well.

“May all of your wildest dreams come true!! We will see you all dressed as your favorite characters from #napoleondynamite #voteforpedro MORE NEWS TO COME!!!🎬🎭🥰😘 GOSH Flippin sweet❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”, Ramirez commented on the Instagram post.

Heder has also played in “Blades of Glory”, “The Benchwarmers” and “Just Like Heaven.” Ramirez is also known for his roles in “Employee of the Month”, “Walkout,” “Lightyear,” and his work as a DJ.

Heder attended FanX before in 2014. Chelsie Stoker, the marketing coordinator for FanX, said it’s exciting to have him back at the convention.

“We are super excited….This was such a huge movie when I was in middle school. It’s one of those re-watch movies with a cult following,” Stoker said. “I know a lot of people are excited to meet them….It’s so fun they get to come to Utah twice, Logan this week and also FanX this September, especially where it was just filmed in our neighboring state.”

FanX this year will take place on Sept. 26 – 28. Tickets are available online. Currently, FanX’s website shows Heder and Ramirez will be at “Celebrity Row” on Friday and Saturday, where fans can snap a photo with the actors or get an autograph from them.

Group photo ops with the two stars are available for $150. Individual photos with Heder are available for $80 and Ramirez’ are $70.

FanX has announced over 40 guests so far for this year. The star-studded guest list includes Susan Sarandon (“The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” “Dead Man Walking”), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO in the “Star Wars” films), Levar Burton (“Star Trek,” “Reading Rainbow”), Freema Agyeman (“Doctor Who,” “New Amsterdam,” “Sense8”), Priscilla Presle, (“Agent Elvis,” Dallas,” “Naked Gun”), and Jameela Jamil (“The Good Place,” “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” “DC League of Super-Pets”).
