Wil Wheaton Attends ‘Star Wars’ Screening in ‘Star Trek’ Costume and Somewhere Sheldon Cooper Is Pissed

The Last Trekkie (at a Star Wars screening, at least)! Actor Wil Wheaton had some fun with the diehard Star Wars fan base on Thursday night.

Wheaton, 45, who played Wesley Crusher on Star Trek: The Next Generation, attended a screening of Star Wars: The Last Jeidi in his Star Trek costume.

“I loved #TheLastJeidi! It hit all the right notes for me, and seeing it in the Chinese Theater, surrounded by my fellow nerds was glorious. The Force was with us,” he captioned the pic on Twitter. “Oh, and I went in costume for the first time ever, because I am a damn adult and I get to decide what that means.”

Wheaton also admitted to one commenter that he did cry in the film.

Wheaton appeared on Star Trek from 1987 to 1994, but has relived his glory days with a recurring guest role on The Big Bang Theory, where he plays an exaggerated version of himself.

On the popular CBS comedy, Wheaton also attended a past Star Wars in his Trekkie costume, enraging the audience and embarrassing his friends who invited him to join them.
