Widow believes nursery cam captured husband’s spirit soothing the baby he never met: ‘The veil is thin’

Nursery camera footage is going viral after a widow claimed it captured the spirit of her husband comforting their baby boy.

Mom of two, Whitney Allen (@whitneylynallen), gained over 3.2 million views, 385,000 likes and nearly 8,000 comments when she uploaded the moving footage to her account.

While we’ve seen heartwarming paranormal claims go viral in the past — like the family who claims their mom’s ashes spelled out a special message for them on the surface of a lake — Whitney’s story of love and loss is one that’s bringing TikTokers to tears around the world.

“My husband passed away this April,” Whitney’s on-screen caption reads in her now-viral video. “I saw his spirit soothe our baby — the one he never met.”

In the video, Whitney holds her baby monitor in one hand while recording with the other. In his crib is Whitney’s 3-month-old son, Leo, seemingly sound asleep — until a soft white ball of light gently flits beside his head.

For a moment, the baby’s eyes flutter open — but as the ball of light continues to slowly move across his head, he falls back to sleep. Whitney’s footage soon cuts to Leo still fast asleep, but now laying in a different position. Still, a glowing shape can be seen seemingly stroking the baby’s head.

“The veil is thin,” Whitney writes, referencing the veil believed by some to exist between the worlds of the living and the dead.

Whitney’s husband, Ryan, died at the age of 35 after suffering a severe reaction to a bee sting. His heart stopped for more than 20 minutes, resulting in an anoxic brain injury.

In the six months following Ryan’s injury, the family endured numerous medical procedures, hospital transfers, rehab appointments, and finally, hospice care.

When Ryan passed, he left behind his 3-year-old son, Jackson, and his wife of 8 years, Whitney, who was expecting their second little boy.

Now, Whitney is sharing Ryan’s story and her journey through grief, loss, solo parenting and finding love again.

And while her family’s story has been impacting millions around the world, Whitney’s nursery camera footage is touching viewers’ hearts in a whole new way.

“This is the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. Thank you for this,” one user wrote in the comments.

“I’m telling you right now that is your husband. 🥺 oh my goodness… he is his guardian Angel now. Your son is divinely protected 🥺,” another user wrote.

“That is the only video I’ve ever seen where it seems legitimate!!! your son has his own guardian angel,” wrote one user.

“The fact that bub opens his eyes, he feels his daddy too…🥺🙏🏼♥️,” commented another user.

“I’m just trying to do some scrolling before falling asleep, not bawl my eyes out before bed 😭 this is beautiful. I’m so sorry for your loss 💜,” wrote another user.

Hopefully Whitney and Ryan’s story continue to touch and inspire people around the world, and bring grieving hearts together.
