Wicked Cool! Blake Shelton Rents Food Truck for Gwen Stefani After Her Boston Show

Blake Shelton apparently knows the way to Gwen Stefani's heart: through her stomach.

That's why The Voice coach and Stefani's main squeeze, 40, hired a food truck to treat Stefani, 46, and the rest of her This Is What the Truth Feels Like crew to a New England-style feast after the tour's kick-off Tuesday evening.

The group gathered post-show in the outdoor pavilion behind the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts, for lobster rolls, fried calamari, clam chowder and french fries courtesy of The Cod Squad Food Truck, owned by Captain Marden's Seafoods.

Shelton ordered up the truck late Tuesday afternoon, asking that it arrive behind the Xfinity Center around 10:30 p.m. The group sat outside laughing, eating and drinking out of red Solo cups. Stefani chatted with staff of The Cod Squad, particularly one server who told her that his 8-year-old daughter was a huge fan.

"It was just last-minute. I was very, very happy that we were available!" one Captain Marden's employee told PEOPLE. "They called and we weren't ready."

Luckily, the Cod Squad team rallied and was able to prepare the feast in time. Naturally, Shelton and Stefani were a big hit with the staff.

"The guys on the truck, they said they were regular people, very friendly," the Captain Marden's employee continued. "They couldn't say enough about them."

During the concert earlier Tuesday evening, Blake stood off to the side of the stage, cheering on Stefani as she performed.

"Wow, I am a terrible photographer but this is an epic thing to see!" Shelton wrote in a tweet, where he pictured Stefani onstage at the Xfinity Center.

Clearly, Gwen was pleased with the performance. On her Instagram after the show, she wrote "1st show was amazing - thank you Boston!!!"

The entire show was also broadcast live on Yahoo Music on Tuesday evening.
