Wichita Jazz Festival runs this week

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The Wichita Jazz Festival is back for its 52nd year, and it runs April 16-20.

Wichita Jazz Festival Schedule:

  • April 16 – Mike Steinel Quintet with Rosana Eckert

    • Wichita Art Museum, 7 p.m.

  • April 17 – Mike Steinel & Rosana Eckert with the Delano Jazz Orchestra

    • Wichita Art Museum, 7 p.m.

  • April 18 – An Evening of Guitar with Stanely Jordan

    • Wichita Art Museum, 7 p.m.

  • April 19 – Melissa Aldana with Wichita State University Jazz Arts 1 and the Mid-Kansas Jazz Band

    • Miller Concert Hall at WSU, 7:30 p.m.

  • April 20 – The Tierny Sutton Band

    • Orpheum Theatre, 7:30 p.m.

Saturday night there will be an after party at Walker’s Jazz Lounge for festival pass holders.

Mike Steinel will be performing but also going into schools to work with students.
