L: Whoopi Goldberg, R: Sunny Hostin

Whoopi Goldberg remains steadfast regarding her opinion of anyone hawking conspiracy theories—especially her co-hosts.

The comedian shut down Sunny Hostin's bold proclamation on Monday's (April 8) episode as she began to detail her makeup artist's response to the week's myriad natural events, sounding like she was buying into the idea that the "rapture" was coming, per Decider.

“When the earthquake was happening, she put her coat on and she was like, ‘Jesus is coming. I’m out. I’m leaving,'” Hostin recounted, noting the then-upcoming solar eclipse. "She ran down the hallway. The raptures are here.”

Additionally, this summer is expected to see two different breeds of cicadas leaving hibernation simultaneously for the “first time in many, many years,” a combination which Hostin asserted "would maybe lead one to believe that either climate change exists or something is really going on.”

Of course, climate change exists and it's already wreaking havoc in several industries. Still, Goldberg was more than happy to rattle off the science behind all of Hostin and her makeup artist's concerns.

“They’ve known about the eclipse coming because eclipses happen and they actually can say when these things are gonna happen,” she pointed out, directly addressing "all these folks who are saying it’s a sign from God."

"God doesn’t give you warning," she continued. "You think he gave people at the Tower of Babel a warning? ‘Oh, I’m about to jack y’all up.’ No!”

As for the cicadas, "...we have them every 17 years. There’s some we get every 20-[something] years. And they just go under and they come back up … They make noise and have sex.”

Goldberg was also very vocal during the height of "#KateGate," when every reported sighting of Kate Middleton was heavily scrutinized—even more so after the princess admitted to doctoring a family photo. The television host slammed everyone criticizing the royal and her photos, questioning why everyone cared so much and why they were all "buying into it."
