Sofia Richie is probably best known as a model now, but what she really wants to be known as is “badass triple threat.”

The 21-year-old, who happens to be the younger sister of Nicole Richie and the daughter of singer Lionel Richie, reveals in the April issue of Cosmopolitan that she’s never been a fan of her work on the runway.

“A lot of people just become models because they’re influencers,” Richie tells the magazine. “We would all get the same jobs, be in the same space, and be labeled the same thing, and I hated it. It made me step back and be like, ‘OK, I’m a creative individual and I want to be smart, start my own businesses, do something I can do on my own, and not be attached to other people.”

She’s working on starting a line of bikinis, which she adores. Richie guesses that she owns 50 to 60 of them.

But that’s not all. Richie, who’s dated Scott Disick of Keeping Up With the Kardashians fame for more than two years, says she’s also taking acting lessons.

“It’s time to start hustling,” Richie says. “2020 is about no fear, and I’m doing things that would usually make me very uncomfortable.”

She notes that she has a “lot of ambition to work hard.”

On her list, in addition to acting and the swimsuit line: expanding into an entire fashion line, selling hair and body products as part of a beauty line, and starting a YouTube channel.

“This year, I’m not scared to fail,” Richie says. “I don’t think there’s necessarily failing. It’s just learning and growing.”
