Why Seth Rogen Shouldn’t Quit His Day Job
During a very special episode of Vanderpump Rules, four cast members of the upcoming film The Night Before competed for a server job at Lisa Vanderpump’s Beverly Hills restaurant SUR. Seth Rogen, Ilana Glazer, Jillian Bell, and Anthony Mackie humbled themselves before SUR bartender and master of the flirt Jax Taylor, recent newlywed and server Scheana Marie, and manager Peter Madrigal for the coveted front-of-house position. Rogen’s master plan was to sleep with someone at the restaurant to ingratiate himself, and he chose Kristen Doute, who Vanderpump fans will remember as getting roundly and unceremoniously fired by Lisa Vanderpump herself last season — and yet somehow continues to make constant appearances at SUR. When Doute proved entirely unhelpful, Rogen set his sights on Marie. She was onto him, but kind of sort of went with it anyway, but not before he went to extreme lengths to get her attention. In the end, it was a spoof, but it proved fairly challenging to decipher the spoof from the reality show.
