Why Parents Say A FaceTime Call With Their 2-Year-Old And Her Babysitter Left Them Uneasy

Kristin and Cameron say that their good friend, Kirstie, started taking care of their 2-year-old daughter, Fallon, when the child’s daycare closed due to COVID. The couple says things with Kirstie were going well, so when she asked if Fallon could spend the night with her and her 3-year-old daughter, they agreed. Kristin says she asked to FaceTime with Fallon around 6:30 p.m. “She was holding the phone directed at Fallon, and Fallon was propped up in the bed, and Kirstie had told me that she just woke Fallon up so she could talk to me,” Kirstin claims. “But Fallon was not responding to me.” Kristin’s husband, Cameron, adds, “Something in my gut was saying go pick up Fallon.” Hear more about the call in the video above from an exclusive interview with Dr. Phil airing Tuesday. Later that night, Kirstie called Kristin and Cameron, they say, hysterical. The couple rushed to the hospital, where hours later, Fallon died. On Tuesday’s episode of Dr. Phil, learn what happened to Fallon and why Kirstie was charged with two counts felony murder, one count malice murder, one count aggravated battery, and one count cruelty to children.
