Why Nick Cannon Won’t Be Voting for Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump

Nick Cannon may be a political activist, but that doesn’t mean that he’ll be casting a vote in the upcoming presidential election.

During a Monday appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Cannon revealed that he will be going to both the Republican National Convention in Cleveland as well as the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia to partake in a march of peace. But when it comes to the November election, he won’t be voting — at least not for president.

“I think it’s all for pageantry,” the America’s Got Talent — who insists he does vote locally — told Stern of the political contest. “I ain’t voting until black lives matter. There’s a segment of the community that actually don’t care about voting because they’re too concerned with staying alive.”

And according to Cannon, it doesn’t matter whether Clinton or Trump wins because “ain’t s**t gonna change.” He even believes the election results are “predetermined” by rich people in high places.
