After years of planning and setbacks, Something About Her is officially open for business. In attendance for Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix’s long-awaited day were several of their Vanderpump Rules alums, including Kristen Doute and Stassi Schroeder. Andy Cohen even popped in for a sandwich and a hug, fully proud of his little Bravo babies. However, Lisa Vanderpump was not present for this grand opening, but her response on the matter is valid, not vicious.

Lisa’s a bit booked and busy at the moment

Speaking to US Weekly, Lisa revealed the main reason as to why she was not in attendance for her ladies. Basically, she has not even been in the same zip code as this adorable new sandwich shop for several beats. That’s valid. You cannot be in two places at once, despite how many times my 9-year-old tries to shut down this theory.

“I’ve been out of town,” Lisa begins, adding “I’ve been in Lake Tahoe,” and oh yeah, she’s also “been in Vegas” and “in New York. I just came back from New York two days ago. I’ve been everywhere,” she explains.

Having extensive prior knowledge on how this industry works, Lisa then used her own experiences to further detail her absence. “We’ll have a soft opening in a restaurant, but we won’t really invite people until, you know, you are kind of two or three weeks in so you can kind of iron out the things. I don’t wanna go there and judge that now. Let’s give them a couple of weeks to settle in. I think that’s normally what we do in the restaurant business,” she explained, noting that she would stop in soon.

Lisa then turned the tables, calling out another absentee VPR star, Lala Kent. Here, she asked the reporter if Lala was present. She then quipped that “Everything always shocks me in this group, but I’m never that surprised. Cause they kind of move very quickly. People have drawn lines in the sand, whereas I’m not really like that.”

“Like that” or not, there you have it. Lisa will be stopping in shortly.
