Why Kanye West Didn't Own A Cellphone Until 2011
Kanye West may be at the forefront of music and fashion, but when it comes to technology he hasn’t always been up with the times. The rapper didn’t buy a cellphone until 2011 and in the final episode of Kocktails With Khloé airing on Wednesday, Pablo explained what finally prompted him to buy one.
“I got a phone because somebody decided they wanted to marry Kris Humphries,” he revealed. “I wasn’t up to anything, and I looked on the Internet, and there was Kim Kardashian with some extremely tall person, and I was like, I need to call her or something."
Lucky for Kanye, Kim and Kris didn’t stay married for long. But he wasn’t quite as lucky when it came to the fate of his cellphone.
