Why Jordyn Woods' Alleged Betrayal Is 'More Difficult' for Kylie Jenner Than Khloé Kardashian
Khloé Kardashian wasn’t the only one hurt by the Tristan Thompson and Jordyn Woods cheating scandal.
After news broke that Thompson allegedly hooked up with Kylie Jenner‘s best friend, sources tell PEOPLE that the makeup mogul has been distraught over losing her best friend to such a deep betrayal.
“For Kylie, it’s much more difficult. She has basically lost part of her world,” says the source. “She is very, very upset. She always trusted Jordyn with everything.”

The two have been best friends since high school, with Woods living in Jenner’s house, accompanying her on lavish vacations and helping take care of her daughter Stormi.
“Kylie just can’t make sense of what happened,” the source adds. “She still has so many questions for Jordyn. Who knows when Kylie will get over this.”

On Wednesday, multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE that Woods, 21, is moving back to her mother’s house. Said one insider: “It’s been a difficult time and she’s broken up about it. She’s heading home to be with her mom.”
On Tuesday, TMZ and Hollywood Unlocked reported that Kardashian, 34, and the Cleveland Cavaliers player, 27, split after he was unfaithful with Woods, who is also a member of the Good American squad, representing Kardashian’s clothing brand.

Multiple sources previously confirmed to PEOPLE the KarJenners were “blindsided” by the reports.
“When they first started hearing on Monday that Tristan made out with Jordyn, no one really believed it,” one source said. “That Tristan would be inappropriate, yes everyone knows that he can’t behave, but that Jordyn would make out with him, it first seemed like a made up rumor.”
“It wasn’t anything they wanted to drop,” the source added. “So several family members reached out to people they believed had been at the party. And they were told it was true.”
Woods has remained silent since the reports first broke, but Thompson tweeted, “FAKE NEWS” before deleting his post.
Reps for Kardashian and Thompson did not return PEOPLE’s requests for comment. Woods’ rep had no comment.
It’s not the Cleveland Cavaliers player’s first cheating scandal, either. Last April, videos leaked of Thompson getting close to other women just days before Kardashian gave birth to their daughter True.
