Why was the 'Jersey Shore' cast in Tucson this week? Here's what we know

You may have noticed that the Jersey Shore cast was in Tucson recently. Then subsequently wondered what they were doing in a state without a beach.

Well, there’s speculation that the cast was in Arizona filming for their show “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.”

Social media posts from Tuesday, Nov. 7, and Wednesday, Nov. 8, show the cast partying in the area at local bars and restaurants. Instagram user @raqueldenisemarquez shared on her account that after spotting the cast members on Tuesday, she was invited to hang out with them the next night.

Marquez said in the caption of her post that the “Jersey Shore” producers and camera crew were “so welcoming.”

What was the 'Jersey Shore' cast doing in Tucson?

The best bet is that the cast was filming for “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” Season 7, which is currently in production.

The Arizona Republic contacted representatives of Paramount and MTV for confirmation of the filming. We'll update the story when there's a response.

DJ Pauly D shared on his Instagram story on Thursday, Nov. 9, that he will be at Maya Dayclub in Scottsdale for a party on Friday, Nov. 17. Tickets for the 21-and-older event are on sale online.

Giancola’s ex-boyfriend Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was also shown in posts.

What Tucson locations did the 'Jersey Shore' cast members visit?

Earlier in the week Sorrentino posted with his wife Lauren that they were at the Miraval Arizona Resort and Spa in Catalina for a babymoon.

The cast stopped by HighWire Tucson, a bar and restaurant downtown, on Wednesday, according to a post shared by Marquez, and were spotted downtown the night before as well.

When will Season 7 of 'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation' air?

Season 6 of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” is currently airing on MTV on Thursdays at 6 p.m. MST. You can also watch on Hulu, Philo, Sling TV, Pluto TV, The Roku Channel and YouTube TV with a subscription.

Season 7 would likely air sometime in 2024.
