The animosity between hip-hop artists 50 Cent and Diddy is not fresh news, as social media users have witnessed the former trolling the latter for years.

Recently, CNN published a video of Diddy assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, in 2016, and Cent did not shy away from voicing his opinion. Additionally, several individuals have accused him of a variety of sexual misconduct and illegal activity, for which he has received six civil lawsuits. A few months ago, a Department of Homeland Security Investigations team arrived at his residence to carry out a sex trafficking investigation. Interestingly, the 54-year-old continues to claim his innocence. Although 50 Cent has never directly stated that he despises Diddy, people certainly know that he hates him.

Reports suggest that their bad blood began back in 2006 after Cent released a rap song where he openly claimed that Diddy knew The Notorious B.I.G.’s killer. On social media, Cent keeps mocking Diddy for music and age, and this only surged after Ventura sued the latter in November 2023. In 2018, during an appearance on “The Breakfast Club” Diddy claimed that he and Cent had no conflict. Furthermore, he said he never took Cent’s comments seriously and found his antics hilarious. He said, “When he does that it’s like funny to me. I don’t really take it personal. I know he has a different sense of humor, and he’s just not in my life. We don’t have to never cross paths, and I will never say nothing negative about him, you know, because that’s just not me.”

Per TMZ, Netflix has won that bidding war for a 50 Cent-produced documentary that will cover Diddy’s sexual assault allegations. Its release date for now is unknown.

50 Cent & P Diddy Feud: When & how did it start?

In 2006, 50 Cent released a song titled “The Bomb,” which had gunfire sounds. In this song, Cent accused Diddy of knowing the identity of Christopher Wallace, aka The Notorious B.I.G.’s killer. Once upon a time, Diddy and Wallace were close friends, and at the time of this murder in Los Angeles in March 1997, the duo were traveling together. “In The Bomb,” Cent referenced Diddy and his lavish New York parties by saying, “I guess this means I won’t be invited to the white parties in the Hamptons.” Additionally, Cent once said that Diddy also has a connection with Tupac’s 1996 murder.

50 Cent has also trolled Diddy non-stop on social media. Some people believe that their conflict is just marketing, but this trolling has drastically increased since Ventura’s aforementioned lawsuit. Per this lawsuit, throughout Diddy and Ventura’s on-and-off relationship, the 54-year-old repeatedly abused her and even raped her in 2018. After the feds raided the accused’s Miami and LA homes, 50 Cent yet again trolled him on X by saying, “Now it’s not Diddy do it, it’s Diddy done. They don’t come like that unless they got a case.”

Recently, Diddy’s 26-year-old son, King Combs, released a song titled “Pick a Side”, where he came in support of his father. In the track, he raps, “All that gossip sh*t is whack when all they had was 50 Cent / Who put this city on the map? / Stop lying.” In response, Cent sarcastically said he felt scared for his life and asked his “hater” not to hurt him.
