Why Caityn Jenner and Khloe Kardashian Haven't Spoken in 6 Years
About six years ago, Bruce Jenner transitioned to Caitlyn, which undoubtedly was difficult for the Kardashian family to deal with. This is not to say, though, that the Kardashians haven't been supportive of Jenner. If anything, they have been overly so, with Caitlyn appearing within their shows and in public at events. However, something happened between Jenner and Khloe during this same period and is leading Jenner to conclude that it was her transition which led to a breakdown in their relationship and the overall communication between them. So what's going on here?

Caitlyn Insists that Khloe Had a Problem with the Transition
Although, Jenner is no longer associated with the show, Keeping up with the Kardashians, she is still making appearances on other programs, including the English show, I'm a Celebrity. Recently on the show, she was asked about her whole transition process and how she dealt with it. To Jenner, it was important to speak with her children first, and according to her, Khloe was the only one of them that seem to take issue with it. Jenner indicated from that point on, the two have ceased to engage in any meaningful conversation, if at all.
Is There Any Merit to These Claims?
Are these comments by Jenner just the most recent take on the strained relationship between Khloe and herself, or has this been the narrative the whole time? Jenner reaffirmed in a conversation with campmates on the show, I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, that "Khloé for some reason was pissed off about something through this whole process." Even going back to 2015, Jenner sat down with Diane Sawyer and reiterated the same point: Khloe was the only child that struggled with her transition. Jenner believed it was because Khloe looked up to her as a male role model, following the death of her father, Robert Kardashian.
Khloe's Response
Khloe Kardashian denies having a problem with Caitlyn's transition but insists there are other reasons for the degradation of the relationship. Backing up the claim that she supported Caitlyn's transition is a tweet she sent out right after the Diane Sawyer interview. Reasons that she cites as to why they don't speak anymore include the manner in which Jenner came out to the family, how she spoke about Kris Jenner after their breakup, as well as, the things that Caitlyn said in her memoir that was later published.
The Internet Concensus on Social Media
Despite both Jenner and Khloe having their own reasons for why the two are strangers now, the internet has chosen who they believe is telling the truth. Littering social media across the board, most seem to indicate that the things said about Kris Jenner and the family on television appearances and in her memoir, ultimately caused the strain between Khloe and Caitlyn, as well as, some of the other family members. This, of course, is nothing but speculation. Maybe the two will one day concede their differences in the future and make amends. After all, Jenner did raise Khloe since the age of five and acted as a parent for a long time.
