In the Wednesday, May 15 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Luna and Poppy worried about a potential pregnancy. The ramifications of the intern taking the pregnancy test could mean the start of a “Who’s the Baby Daddy” story. The rest of the half-hour involved RJ and Brooke keeping Luna’s nightmare of a night with Zende a secret from Ridge. Also, Sheila’s resurrection caused conversations between Deacon and Liam, as well as Steffy and the woman she thought she had killed. Which character made the most sense?

Logical? Illogical? Or Delusional?

Luna (Lisa Yamada): Never has a soap character made the leap to potential pregnancy faster. One second, she got sick in a waste basket. The next second, she wondered if she was with child. Then, just like that, she bought a pregnancy test, peed on a stick, and was ready for the result. This speedy conclusion was a bit illogical. Why would Luna automatically think she was pregnant? Wouldn’t she come up with any other reason, considering Zende (Delon de Metz) said he used protection and she was on the pill?

RJ (Joshua Hoffman): Are RJ’s reasons for keeping this secret from his dad logical? Sure, he wanted to protect Luna. But there’s no way Ridge would blame Luna for what transpired. He would absolutely go after Zende, however. Much like Brooke did — maybe even worse than Brooke did. In fact, Ridge would potentially do something that Brooke alluded to, which is send Zende away to work at a Forrester office far away from Los Angeles. RJ’s slightly illogical. Yes, people would know Luna’s business. But nobody would shun her or blame her for what happened.

Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang): One thing Brooke said to RJ and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was completely logical. No relationship was perfect. Also, she called Ridge out on not putting a ring on it. Weren’t Brooke and Ridge designing wedding dresses and on the road to saying their “I Dos” a few short months ago? Whatever happened to that? Is the show about to get back to this plot point?

Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood): Steffy has every right to tear into Sheila. She wants nothing to do with the woman, and rightly so. But can she really keep her husband from getting to know his mom? She might be delusional on this point.

Sheila (Kimberlin Brown): Delusional. She may have talked calmly to Steffy, but Sheila’s factory setting is delusional. That’s a fact.

Deacon (Sean Kanan): At Il Giardino, Liam tried to talk some sense into Deacon. But it’s clear the restaurant owner is living in his own world. On one hand, he acknowledges her crimes. On the other hand, he says they’re in the past, and she’s not defined by them. But then he finds it okay to joke about Sheila’s “alive” status even though he knows there are people out there whom Sheila hurt horribly. His love for Sheila may be real, but everything else Deacon says and does is delusional.

Liam (Scott Clifton): Normally, Liam would fit in the delusional category. But today, he made sense a few times over. First, he told Deacon that maybe he and Finn (Tanner Novlan) “should keep the happy dance to themselves” because the rest of the world will need a minute to catch up and process. Second, he perfectly explained Steffy’s dilemma. Sure, killing Sheila tormented her. Her saving grace from this torment was the fact that she could breathe easily without Sheila around.

Third, Deacon reminded Liam that Sheila fought Sugar to protect Finn, Steffy, and their family. Liam countered this argument by throwing it back in his face. Because this is something Sheila told him, how can he trust that that was the truth? Finally, he pointed out to Deacon that Sheila was the one who brought Sugar into their lives in the first place! Thank you, Liam, for being the voice of reason…for today only! (Find out what happens on B&B next)
