USA TODAY's 26th annual Save Our Shows poll let you weigh in on which of 21 broadcast series should stay or go.

A glimpse of who's ahead: In no particular order, two dramas – ABC's "The Good Doctor" and Fox's rescue series "9-1-1," both completing their sixth seasons – and ABC freshman drama "Alaska Daily," starring Hilary Swank as an investigative journalist, are leading the pack. The poll is now closed; check back soon for results.

The poll gives viewers a voice in whether scripted TV series hovering "on the bubble" between renewal and cancellation get another lease on life: a slot on the networks' 2023-24 schedules, which they'll announce by mid-May.

"Timeless," "Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist" and "Magnum, P.I.," which won last year, all won reprieves, in part, due to the poll, with a new season, a movie and on a new network, respectively.

The poll, and the lists of renewed, endangered and or near-death series, is based on reports from top executives about prime-time series' status. (Streaming and cable shows and unscripted reality series aren't included because they don't adhere to the broadcast networks' ad-driven calendars and are renewed or canceled year-round.

But long-running favorites including NBC's "The Blacklist," CBS' "NCIS: Los Angeles," ABC's "The Goldbergs" and CW's "Riverdale" are ending their runs, along with ABC's "A Million Little Things" and two medical dramas, NBC's "New Amsterdam" and Fox's "The Resident."
