Nowadays, celebrities from reality stars to Oscar-winning actors have their own product lines, and it’s getting tough to keep them straight. Allow Yahoo Celebrity to occasionally present you with some of the stranger ones.

If you know Whoopi Goldberg, chances are you know the multi-hyphenate star loves shoes. Like really, really loves shoes. But did you know she loves ugly, er, holiday sweaters?

The View co-host has a new line of quirky cashmere sweaters available at Lord & Taylor and Hudson’s Bay. Goldberg has said they “don’t really fall into the category of ugly. They’re just fun. They’re different.” And they all cost $139.

“I’ve always liked them,” the comedian-actor-producer-host-designer told the New York Times, speaking of holiday sweaters. “They make me happy. I’ve worn them for many years. I thought about all the things I’d love to see on a sweater. Maybe a brown Santa. I have friends who are Jewish and Catholic and married to each other, so I had a big green tree, and I thought, ‘Well, what would you put on a big green tree if you’re a Jewish kid?’ Well, you’d put little menorahs on, you’d put dreidels on. We have a ‘What makes the family?’ sweater, which is this whole family and this one guy is green, but you realize he’s their brother. You never know what kind of family is going to come into your door.”

That would be this one — the Family Elf Ugly Christmas Sweater:

Goldberg, 60, shared her new sweater line with Jimmy Fallon when she stopped by The Tonight Show and expounded on why she wanted to create her own version of the sartorial holiday staple. “I just wanted something that would make people smile,” she said. “It’s been a couple of hard years.”

While Fallon may have found his second career as a sweater model, don’t you worry about Whoopi. She isn’t forgetting about her other passion.

“I’d love to design holiday footwear,” the Oscar winner revealed when asked what’s next. But that’s not all. “I’d love to design housewares. If you’re going to have things in the house, you might as well not be bored by them.”

Boring is definitely not a word used to describe Whoopi.
