Haines embraced Goldberg as she spoke love for her cohost through touch during a Hot Topic about aggressive hugging.

Whoopi Goldberg famously does not want somebody in her house — not even Amazon's Alexa — but, with a little convincing and hardcore embracing, The View cohost Sara Haines might be a welcome exception.

On Monday's episode of the beloved talk show, Goldberg introduced a Hot Topic about country musician Jelly Roll's penchant for coming in "hot like a big, aggressive bear" with powerful hugging energy, which prompted the Oscar-winning star to summon a little cuddle from her colleague.

"I don't want to ask this question, but I know I must: Tell me about hugs, Sara," Goldberg said as Haines got up from her seat and wrapped her arms around the Ghost actress, who comically flopped her arms to her side and went limp during the interaction.

Goldberg feigned an unamused smile for the first part of the hug, but came around and put her arms around Haines back to reciprocate the gesture.

"It's my love language," Haines said as the audience laughed, while fellow panelist Sunny Hostin recalled that Haines' hugging style left an imprint on her dad, too.

"My father still talks about Sarah's hugs," Hostin said. "You were hugging him up."

Finally, Goldberg summed up the segment by making an impassioned plea to Jelly Roll: "Jelly, Jelly," Goldberg said, looking directly into the camera. "Jelly Roll, please come on this show and hug these women."

The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET on ABC.
