"No, no, no!" an alarmed Sara Haines yelled. "That was a misspeak."

The View is the place to be on Valentine's Day — for all your sex, snack, and substance needs.

Moderator Whoopi Goldberg — who famously does not want a husband in her house — attempted to get her cohosts in the mood for love on Wednesday's episode, introducing a Hot Topic that cited a recent study suggesting that couples shouldn't have sex on Valentine's Day because they risk being let down if it doesn't live up to their expectations.

"What's wrong with having mediocre sex with somebody you like?" the 68-year-old host asked, to which cohost Alyssa Farah Griffin responded, "That's what I was confused by, because it was advice specifically to couples. If you're with that person, you like having sex with them enough that even mediocre sex is still pretty good."

"Well, pizza is pizza. You know what I mean?" Goldberg said.

Goldberg's cohosts did not acknowledge the hilarity of her comparison of sex to pizza, though 81-year-old panelist Joy Behar did offer some advice for lovers looking to get physical — which resulted in a moment even more comical than Goldberg's remark.

"People go out on Valentine's Day, they eat a big meal, they get tired, and they fall asleep. My recommendation is, you don't go for the big meal until later," Behar said. "First, you do a matinee in the afternoon — a matinee is key to good sex. A martini, empty stomach, no eating."

Goldberg added, "If you don't drink, there are other options."

Behar then held her fingers to her mouth and inhaled.

"Well, you can go the Whoopi Goldberg route — we all know what that is — and get yourself in the mood, and not a drink, but some other opioid," Behar continued, stunning Goldberg and Sara Haines, with the latter waving her hands in the air as she laughed.

"Not an opioid! No, no, no, that was a misspeak," Haines stressed. "That was a misspeak," she repeated.

The camera then cut to producer Brian Teta cradling his head in his hands, as Goldberg exclaimed, "This is what you get for forcing me into this."

Later, comedian Amy Schumer appeared at the table for an interview and brought the conversation full-circle. "Thanks for having me back. Wow," she said. "I can't believe I missed the opioid and sex segment earlier."
