Jeff and his three kids moved in with his mother, Janet, 16 years ago, following a difficult divorce and the loss of his career as an aircraft mechanic.

Janet admits she enables Jeff, but his daughter, Tori, says she’s tired of her dad “mooching” off her grandmother.

“I want to change my life. I don’t want to be where I’m at right now,” says Jeff. He claims he’s “willing to go to any lengths” to change his life.

Dr. Phil introduces Jeff to “Coach Mike” Bayer, a life development coach, CEO of CAST Centers, and author of the book “Best Self: Be You, Only Better.”

“You say you’re willing to go to any lengths, right? So sometimes we have to make a huge, drastic change in our lives,” he tells Jeff.
