The White Pigeon softball team won a pair of games over Union City on Saturday.

The Lady Chiefs scored quite a few runs in the double-header sweep, winning 18-15 in the opener and 9-7 in the second one.

White Pigeon got five RBI from Mable Post in the opening game. She belted a double and a triple in the game. Leigha Shudell and Rachel Byler each had two singles in the victory.

Emily Byler smacked two singles and two doubles, Bailee Freedline added two singles with one double. Layla Abner added one single and two doubles, Cali Raley finished with a single and a double. Both Mackenzie Bright and Hannah Eckert collected a single in the game as well.

Bright picked up the win, striking out two.

In the second game, White Pigeon got a home run, triple and a single from Raley.

Abner, Freedline and Shudell each connected for two singles in the win.  Hitting a double was Eckert.

Emily Byler, Rachel Byler and Bright each hit a single for the Chiefs.

Earning the win was Post, she struck out two hitters.
