New York’s most famous fictional whodunnit podcasters have another murder mystery to unravel. Emmy-nominated series Only Murders in the Building returns Aug. 8 for season three, and Oliver’s (Martin Short) Broadway play can only go on if the killing of his late lead star — Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd), who dropped dead onstage — is solved.

Also starring Selena Gomez as Mabel and Steve Martin as Charles, the Hulu comedy was nominated for best comedy for the 2023 Emmys. Just like last year, Gomez was notably snubbed for an acting recognition; Only Murders’ second season also earned 17 nods at last year’s Emmys, including for best comedy series, best actor in a comedy series (for Martin and Short), best guest actress in a comedy series (Jane Lynch) and best guest actor in a comedy series (Nathan Lane).

In addition to Rudd, season three features guest stars Meryl Streep as Loretta Durkin and Ashley Park as “TikTok-addicted starlet” Kimber, who are both among the suspects in Glenroy’s murder case.
Those who want to follow in the gumshoe footsteps of Mabel, Charles and Oliver can experience an official Only Murders in the Building escape room when it pops up at select Escape Room locations at L.A.’s Westfield Century City (Aug. 11-13 and 18) and at Las Vegas’ The Forum Shops (Aug. 18-20). How to Watch Only Murders In the Building Online
You can watch Only Murders in the Building online exclusively on Hulu, which costs $8 per month with ads, $15 monthly without ads. Cord cutters can also choose from the Hulu + Live TV plan ($70-$83 per month) or from three Disney bundle options: the Duo Basic ($10 per month) that includes Disney+ and Hulu with ads; the Trio Basic plan ($13 per month) that includes Disney+ without ads and ESPN+ with and Hulu with ads; or the Trio Premium ($20 monthly) with Disney+ and Hulu with no ads and ESPN+ with ads.
Hulu Subscription
All subscription options include the show’s first and second seasons as well as Hulu original series including the Emmy-nominated Handmaid’s Tale, The Orville: New Horizons, The Kardashians, The Great, Pam & Tommy and thousands of other movies and TV shows. Subscribers can also stream on mobile devices, watch on two screens simultaneously and create up to six user profiles, but only the ad-free plan lets you download content to watch later offline.
The Hulu with Live TV package is bundled with Disney+ and ESPN+ and includes more than 75 cable channels, live sports and thousands of movies and TV shows. The plan is $70 per month with ads or $83 monthly without ads, but there’s no free trial available. All three streamers have increased their subscription prices in the last year, so the live TV plan is a great option if you want to lock in a discounted price for all three.
