The Masked Singer is back with new celebrity contestants, memorable costumes and electrifying performances.

Fox’s hit reality singing competition has returned for its 11th season with judges Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy and Robin Thicke, alongside host Nick Cannon. There is one small change to the judges panel, though. Longtime judge Nicole Scherzinger is missing from the latest installment due to a different work commitment and Rita Ora is taking over her place temporarily.

Since 2019, The Masked Singer has captivated U.S. viewers and kept them guessing since. The show originated in South Korea in 2015 under the title The King of Mask Singer before spawning The Masked Singer franchise globally, including variations in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Latvia, Portugal, Sweden and more.

The concept of the program differs from other reality singing competitions, with celebrity contestants competing for the final prize. Each contestant is assigned a new persona and wears an elaborate costume associated with it to hide their true identity from the judges and audience. Still, small clues are given along the way to help make final guesses on who is the voice behind the mask.

In pre-filmed interview clips, the competitors' voices are disguised, but when they perform, the celebrities sing with their real voices. The judges then get the opportunity to guess who each contestant is and at the end of every episode, the identity of the losing contestant is revealed to the panel of judges.
