As Halloween creeps nearer, networks and streamers have launched dozens of new spooky programming in honor of the season. With six films, a television series and dozens of popular video games, the “Scream” series is one of the best franchises to delve into this month.

From Wes Craven’s very first 1996 “Scream” film to the most recent “Scream 6,” released in March, here’s where to find and stream every “Scream” movie online. The two most recent films are available on Paramount+, which is currently offering a free trial.
Where to Watch Scream (1996) Online
Variety‘s review: “There’s no question that the filmmaker knows how to put an audience on the edge of its seat. But this yarn isn’t content with visceral delight, and its attempts to instill irony and social perspective just slow down the proceedings.”

Where to Watch Scream 2 (1997) Online
Variety‘s review: “Visceral, witty and appropriately redundant , the sequel has a winning commercial recipe that’s certain to cook up excellent returns in all areas.”

Where to Watch Scream 3 (2000) Online
Variety‘s review: “Hyped as the “final chapter” in a trilogy, “Scream 3” is a crafty and well-crafted wrap-up that really does bring a satisfying sense of closure to the franchise. It should be noted that director Wes Craven found a way to extend another franchise by making one more “New Nightmare” after the deceptively titled “Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare.”

Where to Watch Scream 4 (2011) Online
Variety’s review: “The first follow-up to the original trilogy in a decade, “Scream 4″ proves too much of a once-good thing. Overblown, overlong and overstuffed with genre self-referentialism, yet undercooked in terms of credibility, worthwhile new characters and memorable scares, it’s not the razor-sharp reboot fans were hoping for.”
Where to stream: Peacock, Starz, DirecTV
Where to rent/buy: Prime Video
Where to Watch Scream 5 (2022) Online
Variety‘s review: “‘Scream’ isn’t a wildly scary movie. It does have shocks, jolts, and one ingenious sequence in which a character is poking around a kitchen, and we expect the killer to jump into the frame, but he keeps waiting and timing the attack, stretching out the suspense like taffy.”

Whereto watch Scream 6 (2023) Online
Variety’s review: “While it goes on for too long, is a pretty good thriller. It’s a gory homicidal shell game that’s clever in all the right ways, staged and shot more forcefully than the previous film, eager to take advantage of its more sprawling but enclosed cosmopolitan setting.”
