“Bridgerton” is back with a new season focusing on characters Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton.

The first part of Season 3 aired on Thursday, May 16, and will be split into another part airing in June.

“Bridgerton” takes place during the Regency era in England and each season tells the story of one of the eight Bridgerton siblings finding love. The show is based on the book series by Julia Quinn.

Francesca Bridgerton enters society in Season 3 of “Bridgerton.” The book “When He Was Wicked” by Julia Quinn focuses on her love life. In the books, she marries John Stirling the 8th Earl of Kilmartin after the two fall in love.

John suddenly dies, leaving Francesca widowed and alone. She ends up confiding and seeking support from Michael Stirling, John’s cousin – who was already in love with her. The two end up married with two children, John and Janet.

Queen Charlotte’s residence was filmed at Blenheim Palace Oxfordshire and the filming of her parlor, music room, drawing room, jewelry room and bathroom took place at Lancaster House in London.

Lady Danbury’s estate at the Holburne Museum of Art in Bath, Somerset.

The exterior of the Bridgerton home was filmed in Greenwich, London, at the Ranger’s House and the interior at Halton House in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

When does Part 2 of ‘Bridgerton’ come out?

Part 2 of “Bridgerton” Season 3 comes out with four new episodes on June 13.
