Where to find Rosca de Reyes in Austin for Día de los Reyes on January 6

A sweet, circular cake called a Rosca de Reyes is a popular Día de los Reyes treat.

Christmas and New Year have come and gone, but holiday season celebrations aren't over yet. Jan. 6 marks Día de Los Reyes, or Three Kings Day, which is when the three wise men of the Bible arrive in Bethlehem to present baby Jesus with gifts.

The Christians who observe this holiday, which includes Roman Catholics, often include a special bread called Rosca de Reyes in their celebrations. Here's where you can find the dish in Austin:

Mi Tradición

This bakery has two locations: one at 801 E William Canon Drive and one at 8716 Research Blvd. In addition to Rosca de Reyes, Mi Tradición offers tortas, tacos, quesadillas, aguas frescas, conchas, kolaches and more.

Casa Maria

With both a restaurant and bakery at 4327 S 1st St., Casa Maria will offer Rosca de Reyes this year. Other baked goods include tres leches, pan dulce, pumpkin empanadas and pan de huevo.

La Reyna Bakery

Customers will need to come into this bakery at 5200 E William Cannon Drive to order Rosca de Reyes.

El Rancho Supermercado

The supermarket's bakery offers Rosca de Reyes every year, and there are two Austin locations: one at 8752 Research Blvd. and one at 6800 Berkman Drive.

Fiesta Mart

Rosca de Reyes of various sizes are available online as well as at the store's locations on 5510 I-35 South and 3909 N I-35 Service Road.
