Here's where you can find fish fries and Lenten dinners in the Greater Columbus area

The Lenten season, a 40-day period observed by Christians around the world with prayer, fasting or self-sacrifice, that began on Feb. 14 — Ash Wednesday.

During this time, a common practice is abstaining from meat on Fridays. Many churches, schools and religious organizations are honoring this tradition by offering fish fries and meatless dinners during Lent.
