Not everyone likes searching for a roasting pan or finding the right recipe for stuffing, let alone thawing a turkey for days. If you want to skip the dishes, and leftovers, you can turn to one of these dine-in restaurant meals around the metro area offering Thanksgiving meals. Here's a look at nine options.

AJ's Steakhouse at Prairie Meadows Casino returns this year with its traditional dine-in Thanksgiving Day meal from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Diners can choose chicken corn chowder, pepperjack steak and potato soup, holiday salad, shrimp cocktail, or peaches and pork to start. Entrees include choices such as slow-roasted, brown sugar and maple-glazed turkey breast, an 8-ounce filet mignon, a 14-ounce prime rib, walleye almandine, or cheese ravioli ricotta. For dessert, the restaurant has pecan pie tart, pumpkin cheesecake, or Chocolate Fantasy cake. The dinners goes for $60 per person or $19 for children 12 and younger.

Bravo! Italian Kitchen

Thanksgiving dinners at Bravo! next to Jordan Creek Town Center features a three-course meal with a choice of a Caesar or chopped salad; sliced white meat turkey, gravy, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, Italian sausage stuffing, seasonal vegetable, and cranberry sauce. The restaurant also has pumpkin pie for dessert. The meal goes for $39.99 per person.

Filet Steakhouse has a Thanksgiving lunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with reservations required. The dinner for $49.99 per adult or $16.99 per child age 5-12 includes a carving station with prime rib, roasted ham, and roasted turkey breast, as well green bean casserole, asparagus, Boursin mashed potatoes, turkey gravy, stuffing, creamy roasted corn, and more.

Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar offers Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The restaurant has its three-course menu as well as its regular dinner menu. Starter options include Fleming's salad with walnuts, tomatoes, dried cranberries, red onion, and a lemon balsamic vinaigrette, or the lobster bisque with North Atlantic lobster and spiced sherry cream. The entrée options include the mixed-herb roasted turkey breast and turkey gravy, filet mignon, or a 20-ounce prime bone-in ribeye. All three come with stuffing, and diners can order sides such as mashed potatoes, green beans with apricots and onions, and cinnamon orange cranberry sauce. For dessert, diners can order harvest New York cheesecake with cinnamon orange cranberry sauce, pumpkin cream, and candied walnuts, or carrot cake, a three-layer cake topped with cream cheese frosting and a drizzle of caramel. The Thanksgiving menu starts at $56 or $26 for children.

Mulberry Street Tavern inside the Surety Hotel has a prix fixe Thanksgiving. The three-course meal is $65, or $25 for kids age 5-12, with an optional $35 wine pairing and a $15 split plate fee. Diners start with an arugula salad with pomegranate and toasted almonds, then choose free-range turkey or smoked oyster mushrooms with herbed butter. Family-style sides include garlic whipped potatoes, pecorino Brussels sprouts, chili maple-glazed sweet potatoes, French onion stuffing, cranberry Mandarin sauce, and house rolls. The meal ends with pumpkin tart. Reservations recommended. Open from 5 to 9 p.m.

Opa Italian & Greek has a Thanksgiving buffet with roasted turkey, Greek rice, fried shrimp, gyro meat, chicken souvlaki, ham, meatballs, pasta diablo, mashed potatoes, chicken marsala, and dessert. The buffet from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. is $22.99 per person.

Opa will also have its regular menu, and Thanksgiving trays for takeout after 3 p.m. that feed four to six or eight to 10.

Options include roasted squash and apple soup or prosciutto and melon salad, followed by a smoked turkey dinner, and a choice of pumpkin pie tartlet or the French silk tartlet.

Ruth’s Chris offers a three-course Thanksgiving dinner for $47.95 per person or $16.95 for kids 12 and younger. The dinner includes mixed green salad or chicken and andouille sausage gumbo, followed by an oven-roasted turkey dinner with giblet gravy, accompanied by mashed potatoes with a hint of garlic, honey-glazed baby carrots, sausage and herb stuffing, and cranberry relish. Diners can pick chocolate bourbon pecan pie or pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. Make reservations from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
