Miami — where Jeff Bezos has just announced he will be living full-time and now home to soccer great Lionel Messi — has added a wave of new hotspot restaurants in recent months. From South Florida satellites of beloved bistros Bouchon and Pastis to the first-ever partnership between hospitality and nightlife moguls David Grutman of Groot Hospitality and Noah Tepperberg, The Hollywood Reporter has rounded up some of the best restaurants in the area.

Shingo

Michelin-starred chef Shingo Akikuni’s sushi haven seats just 14 guests and offers an 18-course dining experience spotlighting traditional nigiri, seasonal sashimi and yakimono items paired with premium sakes. 112 Alhambra Circle, Coral Gables

Eva & The Oyster Bar

In Coconut Grove, chef MIchael Beltran has opened Eva, a Mediterranean-styled bistro serving dips including hummus, tzatziki and spicy feta, whole snapper, and short ribs kebabs.
