The parade will kick off in downtown Melbourne on Saturday, Sept. 23 at 11 a.m., starting at the Melbourne Auditorium, heading down Hickory Street and wrapping around E. New Haven Ave. The festival will follow from noon to 6 p.m. in downtown Melbourne, along E. New Haven Ave. between Livingston St. and Depot Drive. Admission to the festival is free. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the historic home will be open for tours in which visitors will learn about the history of the Wells family, who played a key role in the development of the community.
