What's Going On Between JWoww and Roger Mathews?
After meeting in 2009 while Jenni "JWoww" Farley was on Jersey Shore, she and Roger Mathews seemed to have a strong relationship.
Roger proposed to the MTV star in September 2012 during a skydiving trip. By 2014, the couple appeared on Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars where they discussed their relationship and sex life.
Later that same year, they welcomed their first child together, daughter Meilani Alexandra Mathews. Roger tweeted his excitement, writing, "She is here! Meilani Alexandra Mathews 7lbs 13 ounces. Words can't describe what looking into your child's eyes can do to you. I'm humbled."

The Couple Married And Filed For Divorce In Less Than Three Years
The reality t.v. couple got married in October 2015, and announced at the wedding that Jenni was pregnant with their second child, whom they welcomed in 2016.
Unfortunately for the couple, there was trouble in paradise, and Jenni filed for divorce in September 2018.
It appeared the couple was working on things in November, with Roger telling Us Weekly, "We're working on things yeah, absolutely. We spent eight years together so … I feel like there's nothing that's not fixable in our situation."
They'll Split Up The Christmas Holidays
After a whole lot of drama went down between them, much of it involving police and restraining orders, it appears things have smoothed out somewhat. However, that doesn't mean the two will be spending the holidays together.
Roger recently revealed to Us Weekly that they will be celebrating with the kids separately. He said, “It doesn’t look like we will be spending Christmas together. I have the kids Christmas Eve till noon on Christmas Day,. Then I’ll be dropping them off to Jenni.”
The Former Couple Is Co-Parenting
Despite not spending the Christmas festivities together, it appears the former couple is on pretty good terms, especially compared to last year.
Roger recently told Us Weekly, “We have been getting along great and are co-parenting with no issues. Also, we went to the kids’ Christmas play together last week — the kids, Jenni, [her boyfriend] Zack [Carpinello] and I. The kids are happy, Jenni and Zack are happy and I couldn’t be happier.”
So, it seems they have moved on from their tumultuous past and are going about things in a mature way now.
Jenni Recently Spoke About The Divorce
During an October episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Jenni spoke about the divorce and how hard it had been on her.
She told cast mate Snooki, “We were talking about regrets earlier — I’ve been thinking about the biggest one. I’m going through it with the divorce. It’s been almost a year since I filed. When you get divorced, you’re supposed to be celebrating and start a new chapter, but it’s really heartbreaking. And it’s stressful, the up and down battle of figuring out custody issues. I just don’t know when it gets better.”
While the divorce was clearly causing enormous stress on the former Jersey Shore couple, it appears they have worked things out, and are now civil with one another. Let's hope they keep this going for the sake of their children.
